ZUCKERMAN SPAEDER LLP
When the law firm, Zuckerman Spaeder LLP, moved its D.C. offices to a newly renovated location, the firm was undecided as to whether the existing art collection should be retained. We advised the client to deassess artwork that was dated and to collect artwork that was more cutting-edge.
The new space has natural light and contemporary design elements. We worked with Washington, D.C. galleries to obtain works by the photographers Frank Hallam Day, Colby Caldwell and William Christenberry, as well as works on paper by Steven Cushner and David Shapiro.
After the Washington D.C.'s office was completed, artwork was selected for the firm's New York City offices. Artwork was chosen from New York galleries, keeping in mind that the art could be integrated into the D.C. office at a later date if necessary.
